Abstract |
The KEC(Korea Electro-technical Code) is applied in accordance with the international standard conformity requirement for installation and inspection of domestic electrical equipments. The main differences between KEC and the past standard are classification of grounding methods according to the type of grounding system, and protection against electric shock. Accordingly, in the standard of human body protection from electric shock, the allowable dangerous voltage has become more important than the grounding resistance value, but in the case of design and construction of low voltage electrical equipment, it is difficult to calculate that. Therefore, in this paper we model the types of grounding systems that can be applied in Korea through simulation, and the safety of the grounding system according to the grounding resistance value in terms of electric shock protection is reviewed by simulating human electric shock case study. |
