| Abstract |
The government has mandated the installation of electric vehicle (EV) charging facilities which should have more than 2 % area in apartment buildings. As the capacity of charging facilities increases, which was not considered in the design, it is necessary to check the use of emergency power transformers that supply power to EV charging facilities for stable operation. In this paper, we confirmed the average and maximum power consumption for an hour, day, and month by investigating the load of emergency power transformers in Guri Galmea Complex 1 and 2. We compared the time limit point of transformer capacity in an apartment complex with other studies. In addition, we reviewed the difference between designed power capacity and actual usage. We expect that this research will contribute to the expansion of EV charging facilities in apartments by comparing the power consumption between the investigated apartment and other apartments to confirm the similarity of the power consumption. |
