Abstract |
The energy market is changing from the existing fossil fuel-based power production system to clean energy. Energy storage technology is needed to solve the difficulties in predicting power generation output according to regional and climate characteristics and the shortcomings in maintaining power quality. In this paper, safety standards were developed through case analysis, including fire accident-centered trend changes and risk analysis of LiB-based energy storage technology. The high charging rate and fire risk caused by the internal short circuit of the battery were calculated as the factor for estimating fire accidents, and safety standards were proposed accordingly. |
