Abstract |
CMV, which affects the safety of ESS, not only causes battery fires, but also causes distortion in 3-phase power according to grid connection. Therefore, it is very important to understand the CMV that occurs in the design and operating conditions of the ESS. In this paper, the effect of CMV according to load changes was analyzed. First, it was confirmed that the PCS switching frequency of 5 [kHz] appears as CMV due to the common grounding of the ESS system. And when a load is connected between the AC system and the PCS while the PCS is operating, leakage current flows through the common ground. As a result, it was found that CMV of the same size appears on the (+) and (-) sides of the PCS DC, and that the AC system voltage is also relatively distorted due to the influence of CMV depending on the load. |
