Abstract |
Title: Analysis of Cable Tray Seismic Test Results and Application Directions Cable trays are important nonstructural elements that are installed in buildings to accommodate electrical equipment. Cable trays can be damaged by seismic vibrations, so it is necessary to ensure their stability through seismic design and construction. This study conducted experimental research to evaluate the seismic performance of seismic supports for cable trays installed in the field. The test results showed that the seismic supports for cable trays exhibited stable performance under the design seismic loads. Based on the results of this study, it is expected that guidelines for the design and construction of seismic supports for cable trays can beprovided. However, further research is needed to consider a wider range of field conditions. |
