Abstract |
According to the increase of required load capacity for the low-voltage AC system, compact current detection modules are required to secure the safety of electric systems. In particular, low-voltage infrastructure is required due to the increase in electricity demand for intelligence, customer convenience, and safety in the railway sector. In this paper, design consideration of inductive coil sensor for 3-phase current detector is proposed to expand linearity and improve measurement precision. The design method considering the limited space and practical implementation constraints was studied. To verify the proposed method, a 150A-class prototype was designed. Several induction coil sensor output variations with different specifications were verified through experiments. |
