Abstract |
The use of eddy current is widely used in industrial applications such as non-destructive testing and automation devices and has become commonplace. In this paper, we verified that the effect of Eddy Current on the detection distance of the wheel is related to the distance through the magnetic circuit modeling of the single-sided sensor for the axle counter using the Eddy Current sensor principle, and confirmed that the impedance changes due to the change of the inductance and resistance value depending on the distance, and this phenomenon causes the sensor coil voltage amplitude to change. Therefore, through theoretical analysis and experiments, we verified that the impedance change and magnetic field change caused by the Eddy Current through the magnetic circuit modeling and experiments are factors that affect the detection distance. |
