Abstract |
Sector coupling can provide an efficient energy supply based on interdependencies among different energy sources. An integrated energy system is utilized for supplying heat and electricity demand in a local area with cogeneration systems and distributed energy resources. Among resources in this interdependent system, cogeneration systems can supply both heat and electricity demand. Considering operation characteristics of cogeneration systems is a key factor of planning operation strategy for the integrated energy system. We propose an optimal operation strategy for the integrated energy system considering heat and electricity generation efficiency varying with the amount of generation of a combined heat and power resource under the renewable energy scenarios. The proposed model is formulated as an optimization problem to minimize the operation cost of the integrated energy system. The effects of proposed method are evaluated in comparison with the fixed generation efficiency |
